Minolie Govender is the creator behind this offer. She has a background in Coaching Psychology, is currently completing her Masters degree at the University of Sydney and pursuing ACC accreditation through the International Coaching Federation.

The offer is based on Minolie’s own mental health journey combining clinical psychology with yoga philosophy and meditation, as well as her background studying the human body in exercise physiology and experience working in public health policy for the last ten years. This taught her what’s needed and what actually works in the mental health space.

Outside of the Coaching Psychology realm, catch Minolie chasing adventure or writing poetry about it.

What we do

My vision -

To shake up early intervention in mental health support  and guide a generation to carve their own path because it’s the most powerful thing I’ve done for myself.

The problem we are trying to solve -

Much of today’s mental health support doesn’t reflect what people actually need.  Our options are talk-based care or temporary rituals that don’t create permanent, real change. As a consequence, many of us are more self-aware than ever, yet we still don’t feel better.

Our solution -

Coaching with us blends the science of psychology with the practicality of coaching. It is:

  • Solution focused so you can take action, at your pace

  • Builds a reflective practice outside sessions for real, lasting change

  • Uses a structural lens recognising the systemic influences like power structures that shape us

  • Combines talk-based coaching methods with techniques for the rest of the body

Who is this for -

This is for people who are going through change and transitions, who may have even tried therapy, and now want support to turn awareness into real change.

Who this is for -

This is for people who are going through transitions, who may have tried traditional support but are still looking for clarity and direction, and are curious about practical tools for change.

What is coaching with us like?

Coaching with us blends the science of psychology with the practicality of coaching. We use self-reflection tools that work with the whole body and mind, and acknowledge the systems that shape our lives. This approach is for people who have done some inner work, maybe even tried therapy, and now want support to turn awareness into real change.

1. Solution-focused so you can take action, at your pace

We support you to move forward, gently. Each session is a balance of grounding in the present, understanding your past, and taking meaningful steps toward what’s next. If you are not sure of where to start, we meet you there, with space to explore, get clear, and move at your pace.

2. Real change happens between sessions

Insight is just the beginning. We help you create simple, sustainable practices, whether it’s reshaping habits, designing your mornings, or carving out stillness in a busy day. The goal is to build a reflective practice that supports long-term change, not just short-term relief.

3. We look at you in context, not in isolation

We recognise the influence of your environment including culture, race, family, power, and history in shaping your beliefs and behaviours. Together, we explore how these systems impact you, and how you might move forward within and beyond them

4. We coach the whole body, not just the mind

Talking is important, but it’s not always enough, especially in the context of stress, anxiety and trauma. We use sensory and somatic tools to help you process what's stored beyond words. This includes movement, meditation, and techniques drawn from yoga philosophy, not as a fitness routine, but as a path to deeper awareness and self-trust.

What to expect during sessions?

The structure of indivdiual sessions are based on the following five principles which have been adapted from various models of change:

Ease

Stillness is gold, so our sessions will start with body based somatic therapies to ease your nervous system

Listen

In the stillness, you get to know yourself. You’ll learn the art of reflective practice to understand your experiences

Reflect

Add insight to your reflections by thinking creatively to add meaning to what you are observing within yourself using art therapy

Learn

From meaning comes understanding where you are and where you want to be. This is where you’ll understand what needs to change

Experiment

The magic lies between sessions where you make these changes and together in follow up sessions, we will reflect and refine until you are where you want to be
